General Openings

The Northbrook Theatre is always interested in individuals to teach in our many educational OutReach classes. Positions include instructors in the areas of music, dance and drama. New class proposals are always considered. All applicants must possess a college degree in their respective field in order to be considered for employment.

Immediate Openings-Summer Drama Workshops

The Northbrook Theatre is accepting staff applications for its Summer Drama Workshops. These paid positions include instructors in music, dance and drama. Additional positions are available for directors, music directors, choreographers, scenic designers and stage technicians. All of these professional positions require applicants to possess a college degree in their respective field in order to be considered for employment. A special program employs college and some high school students as interns with the Northbrook Theatre during the summer. Student interns act as assistants to the professional staff and receive financial compensation. College credit has also been arranged in cooperation with and through approval of a student’s respective college or university. Such earned credit may be in addition to or in lieu of salary depending upon individual college or university rules governing in absentia credit.
