OutReach Classes

The Northbrook Theatre offers a wide variety of classes in the Performing Arts through its Educational OutReach Program. Join the over 2,000 students each year who study with NBT OutReach!  

Music Classes

Private music instruction is offered for both keyboard and voice students. Our instructors are not only professional musicians but also trained, degree-holding teachers. Keyboard instruction includes either a traditional or Suzuki approach and may be taken in private or small group classes. Instruction for both disciplines is available for either children or adults.

Dance Classes

Our Dance Department offers a variety of introductory classes for pre-school children on up to traditional classes in tap, ballet and jazz for older students. Combination classes in Tap/Jazz. Ballet/Jazz and Tap/Ballet are also available as are specialty classes in musical theatre dance styles and street dance. Our instructors are degree-holding professionals and performance artists in their own right.

Drama Classes

Our Drama Classes help or students to build self-confidence and the ability themselves before large groups of people. Emphasis is placed on controlling the voice and body to display emotions and utilize the senses. Role-playing and make-believe are all a part of the dramatic moment. Our drama instructors are degree-holding educators and professional actors.
