OutReach Classes

The Northbrook Theatre offers a wide variety of classes in the Performing Arts through its Educational OutReach Program. Join the over 2,000 students each year who study with NBT OutReach!  

Music Classes

Private music instruction is offered for both keyboard and voice students. Our instructors are not only professional musicians but also trained, degree-holding teachers. Keyboard instruction includes either a traditional or Suzuki approach and may be taken in private or small group classes. Instruction for both disciplines is available for either children or adults.

Dance Classes

The Northbrook School of Dance offers a variety of dance classes for all ages, including Creative Movement classes for 3-5 yrs, Pre-Ballet/Tap for ages 4-5, Kinder-Ballet/Tap for ages 5-6, Combo Ballet/Tap/Jazz classes for ages 6-9+, and one hour classes of Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop or Musical Theatre for ages 7 to teen. Drama Classes

Our Drama Classes help our students to build self-confidence and aquire the ability to present themselves before large groups of people. Emphasis is placed on controlling the voice and body to display emotions and utilize the senses. Role-playing and make-believe are all a part of the dramatic moment. Our drama instructors are degree-holding educators and professional actors.
